Classic Italian Nutella cookies! Instead of having it the traditional way: adding a dollop of Nutella to each cookies; I added white chocolate chips.
Ingredients.
(75g) 1/4 cup of Nutella
(90g) 3/4 cup of flour
2 tsp of corn starch
1 medium egg
A handful of white chocolate chips
Directions.
Cream together Nutella and egg with a hand mixer until well corporated (alternatively you can whisk by hand, though it might require more time). The batter should look smooth and runny with a consistency.
Add the sifted flour and corn starch, gently fold with a spatula until a smooth paste forms.
Chill the batter in the freezer about 10 - 15 minutes, meanwhile preheat the oven to 180C / 350F.
Using a teaspoon, scoop the batter and shape them into little cookie balls, lining them up on a baking sheet. Bake for around 10 - 15 minutes (mine took 13 minutes) in the preheated oven
Leave the cookies on the tray while it is still hot, pressing down white chocolate chips on top of the surface of the cookies.
Store in air-tight container after they are all cool completely.
*Don't they just look so adorable? (spot the smiley face)
*Cakey like texture while it is warm and hardens up to a crunchy texture when it is cooled.
