Sam and I, both cynophylist, decided to meet up at this husky cafe prior to our respective departures to Cologne and Seattle. I am so used to commuting around with public transit in Seattle, yet it is almost impossible to go somewhere without a car back home. Being not able to drive around the city means that, I solely depend on my dad to move arround, thus, to coordinate with his schedule, I was here approximately half an hour early than expected.

Architectural experience

Upon first entering the store, there is an entry threshold: a wall which blocks the view to the interior space which serves as an effective dividing space that separates the huskies and the visitors. At the counter, you are required to book a specific session prior to the visit, or book directly when you're physically in the store (at your own risk!).

Once checked in, multiple seating areas are availble for you to play with our furry friends, such as sofas, little colorful stools, bean bags and high-chairs with tables, which designed in a way so that our furry friends would be able to pass through the chairs underneath. Overall the wide open-space has a rustic feeling with the use of concrete as the ground material, a comfortable height of the overhead condition which made the spacial experience inviting. Minimalistic black wall decorations with simplistic shelves also further enhances the visual experience. Despite having animals, the place is rather clean and odorless.

Menu

While I was there, I had a cup of Twinnings Earl Grey Tea, while my friend ordered some chips.

I did not get to try most of thier menu items as I feel like, the main attraction here is no doubt, the huskies. Anyway, there is still a wide selection of food and drinks which you can enjoy at the high--chair section of the cafe. The chairs and tables are tall enough to prevent our furry friends from sniffing the food. There are also shelves located at convenient places so that you can place your drinks while petting the huskies.

*This baby is almost as tall as us human.

*Fun fact: Technically, I am a "Husky" too, proud to be a part of the UW Dawg pack. go Huskies!

So would I go back again? Definately. My love for huge dogs never fades.
